GOLD AWARD HELP NEEDED:

Kelsey D. is a Girl Scout Ambassador in the Sycamore Service Unit. She is working toward her Gold Award and needs help with her project. Please see her email below. You can contact her via email at kdrapkin22@gmail.com if you’re interested in her attending a meeting to talk about her project and to the girls about her experience with Girl Scouts:

My name is Kelsey  and I am a junior at Sycamore High School .  After being a Girl Scout since Daisies, I have decided to take the next step and reach for my Gold Award.  I have decided to send care packages to an orphanage in Lesotho, Africa called Little Angels.  I am collecting warm clothing, school supplies, books, and toys for children aged 2-5.  I was wondering if I could come speak to your troop about my project and just about Girl Scouts in general.  Thank you in advance.

In addition, we offer special guided tours of the Warren County History Center conducted by our Director of Education, John Zimkus. There tours will help your girls earn badges for the “Talking to History” program. Admission is only $3.50 per girl, $5.00 for adults, one leader per troop at no charge.

Tours can be booked after closing with advance notice and reservations.

Brownies can book a “Manners Tea” where they can earn the “Please” patch.  Teas must be booked at least two weeks in advance and have a minimum of 12 guests. Tea costs $10.00 per person and includes a tour of the Warren County History Center .
